Recreation Trail Conditions

Come explore Marinette County's has over 600 miles of clearly marked, well-groomed, scenic snowmobile trails and nearly 300 miles of ATV trails! The trails in Marinette County connect south at the Oconto County line and north to Forest and Florence counties and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan border. State Corridors #1, 3, 5, 7 and 18 cross the county and tie into the 25,000 mile statewide trail system.

The Marinette County ATV Trails will re-open Friday, April 13, 2012. The trails have been closed for spring breakup and because of downed trees/branches.

 

Thank you for helping us protect the soft trail base this spring.

 

An Important Reminder:

 

ATV riders on the Iron Snowshoe ATV trails in the Butler Rock area of Marinette County which connect into the Oconto County summer only ATV trail system at the county lines- need to be aware that Oconto County's ATV trails won't open until May 1st and closes Oct. 31st each year. WOODLAND TRAILS ATV SYSTEM AND DUSTY TRAILS SYSTEM ARE CLOSED UNTIL MAY 1, 2012.
